About Changes

Changes is a community health project in East Lothian, here to help you achieve and maintain positive mental health and wellbeing. We provide support to anyone over the age of 16, living, or registered with a GP in East Lothian.

Our history

Changes Community Health Project was established in 1996 to promote the positive wellbeing of people living in East Lothian. Growing from a local community initiative, over the years Changes has developed a range of tried and tested self-help groups and courses, counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy services, mental health awareness training, together with well supported volunteer opportunities, where volunteers co-facilitate groups and courses and lead the Healthy Living Project activities.
