Description

Learn to play ukulele with Changes Ukulele for Beginners 6 week in person course! There’s no need to worry if you don’t know how to play; this course is designed for absolute beginners and will teach you everything you need to know! We can lend you a ukulele or you are welcome to bring your own.

Ukulele is a wonderful instrument to play since it is so much fun. For example, you can wow someone with a spontaneous burst of song if you master your first chords.

Participants learn how to strum and how to play popular songs. Our Volunteer Ukulele instructor will share tips and tricks to help you create beautiful sounds.

If you’ve ever wondered how to start playing the ukulele, one of the greatest ways is to study the instrument in a group of like-minded enthusiasts and people who share your passion for the instrument!

What is the Ukulele?

The ukulele is a member of the lute family of instruments of Portuguese origin and popularized in Hawaii. It generally has four nylon strings.

The tone and volume of the instrument vary with size and construction.

Ukuleles commonly come in four sizes: soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone.
