Understanding and Managing Anxiety

Do you suffer from anxiety (occasionally or frequently)? Are you looking for support to lead a fulfilling life? Then this is the group for you!

Life with anxiety can feel overwhelming. This group will give you knowledge and tools to improve your wellbeing. The groupwork is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Over 5 weeks the group will cover the following areas:

  1. What is Anxiety?
  2. What are the causes of Anxiety?
  3. Common treatments to challenge Anxiety
  4. To relieve Anxiety and bring peace to your daily life
  5. To move forward and enjoy your life!

By the end of this group, you will have a better understanding of your personal experience of anxiety and a toolkit of techniques to manage anxiety and restore calm within your body and mind. Within the group you will have the opportunity to practice these skills, ask questions, and receive answers.
